General
What is Dispatcher?
Dispatcher is AI-powered dispatch middleware that connects your voice AI system to your field service management platform. When a customer calls your business, the AI answers, checks your technicians’ real-time availability, and books the job directly into your scheduling software — automatically.
Which businesses is Dispatcher built for?
Dispatcher is built for home service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, garage door, pest control, lawn care, and more. It works for individual contractors, agencies managing multiple clients, and franchises with hundreds of locations.
How is Dispatcher different from an answering service?
An answering service takes messages. You still have to call customers back, check your schedule, and book the job manually. Dispatcher does all of that automatically — checking real-time availability and booking the job into your FSM before the call even ends. No callbacks, no manual data entry, no missed revenue.
Do I need to already have AI voice set up?
Dispatcher works with your existing AI voice platform — GoHighLevel, Vapi, or Bland AI. If you don’t have AI voice yet, our team can help you get set up. Contact us at hello@hiredispatcher.com.
Setup & Integrations
How long does setup take?
Most contractors are up and running in under 10 minutes. Connect your AI voice platform, connect your FSM (Jobber, HouseCall Pro, or ServiceTitan), and you’re dispatching.
Which voice AI platforms does Dispatcher support?
Dispatcher currently supports GoHighLevel, Vapi, and Bland AI. We’re voice-agnostic — our middleware works with any platform that can send a webhook.
Which job management platforms does Dispatcher support?
Dispatcher integrates directly with Jobber today. HouseCall Pro and ServiceTitan integrations are coming soon — sign up for early access on their integration pages.
Can I use Dispatcher with multiple voice AI providers or FSM platforms?
Yes. Your first voice AI provider and first FSM platform are included. Additional connections are available as add-ons ($29/mo per additional voice provider, $49/mo per additional FSM platform).
What happens if my FSM platform has an outage?
Dispatcher detects when your FSM is unreachable and queues the dispatch request. When connectivity is restored, queued jobs are processed automatically. You’ll receive a notification about any queued dispatches.
Pricing & Billing
How much does Dispatcher cost?
Dispatcher uses simple, usage-based pricing: $2 per answered call and $10 per dispatched job. Most contractors pay $300–600/month. No setup fees, no monthly minimums, no contracts.
When do I get charged?
We charge your card when your running balance reaches $100, or weekly — whichever comes first. Every charge includes an itemized breakdown of all calls answered and jobs dispatched.
Is there a free trial?
Your first dispatch IS the trial. Sign up free, connect your tools, and see it work. You’ll pay $12 for your first complete cycle — a $2 answered call plus a $10 dispatched job. If that books a $350 job, you just made 29x ROI.
Do you require a contract?
No. Pay as you go. Cancel anytime by disconnecting your integrations. No cancellation fees, no penalties.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. Once you’re up and running, we offer commitment plans that unlock 15–27% savings. We’ll surface these when your usage makes them worthwhile.
What counts as an answered call?
Any call that connects to your voice AI and is handled by Dispatcher, regardless of outcome. If the caller hangs up before the AI can respond, it doesn’t count.
What counts as a dispatched job?
A job successfully created in your FSM with a technician assigned and time slot confirmed. You’re only charged when the job is actually booked. If availability check fails or the customer declines the offered time, no charge.
For Agencies
Can I whitelabel Dispatcher for my clients?
Yes. Dispatcher runs under your brand — your clients see your name, your logo, your pricing. They never see Dispatcher or your underlying voice AI platform.
How does agency billing work?
You get a single bill for all your clients. You set your own markup and bill your clients directly. Most agencies charge $3–5 per answered call and $15–25 per dispatched job, keeping the margin.
Can I manage all my clients from one dashboard?
Yes. Your agency dashboard shows all client accounts, usage, and status in one view. Provision new clients in minutes, not days.
For Franchises
Can Dispatcher handle hundreds of locations?
Yes. Dispatcher is built for scale. Template-based provisioning lets you deploy to 100+ locations in weeks, not months. Each location gets its own configuration while corporate maintains centralized visibility.
Does each franchise location get its own setup?
Each location gets its own webhook, FSM connection, and call handling configuration — but all are provisioned from a master template. Corporate can override settings per location if needed.
Do you offer enterprise features like SSO?
Yes. Dispatcher supports SSO/SAML integration, role-based access control, API access, and dedicated account management for franchise deployments.
Security & Data
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use SOC 2-compliant infrastructure and never share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What customer data does Dispatcher store?
Dispatcher processes call details (caller name, phone number, service requested, preferred time) to create jobs in your FSM. Call recordings are handled by your voice AI provider, not Dispatcher. We store dispatch records for your dashboard and billing.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Contact us at privacy@hiredispatcher.com and we’ll process your data deletion request within 30 days.
